Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that people have endorsed the performance of NDA government at the Centre during the past four years and that is why they have brought BJP to power in 20 states across the country.
Addressing a public meeting in Cuttack Odisha this evening, he said the BJP-led government at the Centre is moving in right direction and the people have put their seal of approval on it. Prime Minister said, NDA government’s commitment to fight corruption has sent shivers down the spines and that is why they are coming under one umbrella.
Mr Modi said, 3,000 raids were conducted by various agencies and undeclared income to the tune of 73,000 crore rupees was unearthed. Prime Minister said the country is moving towards good governance from bad governance and towards white money from black money.
He said, the people can now see that the NDA government is working with the motto Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas.’ Mr Modi said his government is not afraid of taking tough decisions and it has courage, commitment and strength to go for surgical strike.
Prime Minister criticized Biju Janata Dal government in Odisha for not utilising the waters of variuos rivers including that of Mahanadi. Mr Modi also accused Odisha Government creating hurdles in resolving Mahanadi water issue. Prime Minister said during last 20 years the state government failed to complete Lower Indra Project.
