Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said the current session of Parliament is also threatened with a wash out like the last session. In a facebook post, Mr Jaitley wrote the nation is waiting for the Parliament to discuss public issues and to legislate a historical Constitution Amendment enabling the GST but all this is being indefinitely delayed.
Mr Jaitley quoted a speech of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru where he mentioned there can be no higher responsibility or greater privilege than to be a member of Parliament which is responsible for the fate of the vast number of human beings who live in this country. The finance minister said those who claim the legacy of Panditji must ask themselves the question, what kind of history are they making.
