Twenty six people were killed and over 100 injured due to rain and heavy storm in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province yesterday evening. Provincial Minister Ziaullah Afridi said that heavy rain lashed provincial capital Peshawar and districts of Charsadda and Nowshera. He said, 26 people were killed in rain related incidents. In Peshawar, the roofs of several houses collapsed due to the storm in Wahid Ghari, Charsadda road, Liaqat Abad, Sadiq Abad and Ring road areas. The storm affected power supply system. Rescue teams are busy to evacuate the trapped persons.
