Recently an Ola cab driver refused to serve a journalist, Mr Asad Ashraf, saying that he does not go to “Mulla colonies”. Taking sou motu notice of this incident, Delhi Minorities Commission DMC, has asked Ola company to explain (1) what is the company policy in such matters, (2) what action has been taken against the said driver and (c) have all drivers of the company been warned that such discriminatory behaviour will not be tolerated from anyone of them in future.
