Delhi Minorities Commission (DMC) had issued a notice to Delhi Police Inspector Keshav Kumar at the complaint of a Muslim citizen of Welcome, Shahdra.

According to DMC, the said officer did not reply to the notices and did not attend the hearing in the case. DMC took a serious note of this behavior and issued an order for departmental enquiry against him. As a result, DCP of 3rd Battalion has issued a show cause notice to the said officer to explain his “gross misconduct, negligence, carelessness and dereliction in the discharge of his official duties.” The said officer has to reply to the show cause notice within 15 days, failing which it will be assumed that he has nothing to say in his defence, the show-cause notice said.

In a separate case, a Jain citizen complained against the misbehavior of Vipin Sharma, SHO of New Usmanpur (now transferred to Nandnagri). Notices were served to the said officer but he did not reply to the notices and did not attend the hearing of the case either. Annoyed at this behavior, DMC has directed DCP North East Distt. to start departmental disciplinary enquiry against the said officer.
