Most parts of north India continues to reel under cold wave conditions. In the National Capital Delhi, poor visibility due to very dense fog affected train services.
According to Met department, the minimum temperature dipped to 6.4 degrees Celsius, three notches below the average for the season.
In Punjab and Haryana, cold wave conditions have further Intensified as mercury has dipped at most of the places during the day. Our correspondent reports that in both states, dense fog was also observed at most places.
In Himachal Pradesh, night temperature remained below normal in most part of the state. People, especially in tribal areas are living in quite chilling conditions.
