National Investigation Agency teams have seized 12 lakh rupees in cash and incriminating documents, files as well as electronic storage devices in raids on 12 premises including head office of the banned Islamic Research Foundation, IRF.
The agency yesterday said in a release that it has registered an offence against the IRF Founder President and controversial preacher Zakir Naik and his associates for promoting enmity and hatred between religious groups through his speeches on various public platforms.The Centre had recently banned the IRF for five years.
