Mukhtar-Abbas-Naqvi 2UNION Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said, the NDA government at the Centre was committed to inclusive growth, development without discrimination and development with dignity.

Addressing a press conference here on the completion of four years of the government. Mr Naqvi said, the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was following the line of reform, perform and transform.

He said the people gave up LPG subsidy on the Prime Minister’s appeal to benefit those in need. The Minister also asserted that VIP culture has ended, and instead, electricity connections have reached all villages. He said, now the target is to take power to all houses.

Mr Naqvi added that Haj subsidy has been stopped, and this year, 1 lakh 25,000 Muslims will go for Haj pilgrimage without subsidy. He said, that the money saved from this initiative will be used in education of minority girls.

Mr Naqvi also said, over 2 crore rupees have been spent on providing scholarships to minority girls adding that more 5 lakh employment opportunities have been created for minorities.
