Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has threatened to pull out from the anti-BJP alliance in poll-bound Bihar after it was given mere three seats out of the total 243 seats.

Party leader Tariq Anwar said that a meeting of party leaders has been convened to decide the future course of action and said that the party could even go alone in the state.

Mr Anwar said, NCP wanted to be with the JDU-RJD-Congress alliance, but since they don’t want NCP, they are not knowing the contribution.

Yesterday, JD(U) leader and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had announced that the RJD and JD(U) will fight on 100 seats each and Congress was given 40 seats for the 243 assembly seats.

He had said that NCP will also be included in this grand alliance. RJD President Lalu Prasad and Congress leader CP Joshi were present on this occasion.
