Re-polling was conducted peacefully in 12 polling stations across the Nagaland today. According to State Chief Election Officer, 66.23 per cent was recorded. Re-polling was held in these polling stations on grounds of violence and misconduct reported in on Tuesday’s polling for the State Assembly.

Meanwhile, fresh polling was also held at Ladigarh polling Station under Longleng district. Polling was reported to have been peaceful. On the actual polling day on 27th February, polling officials could not reach the designated polling station on time. According to the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, Assam Police obstructed the polling officials on the way to their designated polling station.
