The government today informed the Lok Sabha that the Naga issue will be resolved in consultation with the affected State Governments. They will be taken into confidence before reaching the final agreement. Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju informed the House that the Centre had signed a Framework Agreement in August last year to resolve the Naga issue. It lays down the broad principles within which the final agreement would be worked out, he said.
