Madhya Pradesh government transferred an amount of over Rs 23 crore 19 lakh online into the accounts of flood affected people in districts of Gwalior-Chambal division and Vidisha district through video conferencing yesterday.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan informed that State Government has so far transferred more than Rs 52 crore into the accounts of the flood affected families .
Chief Minister Interacted virtually with the flood affected people. Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar also attended the programme virtually.

He informed that as immediate relief, the affected families have been provided with Rs 6,000, 50 kg of food grains and other items of daily necessity.
Along with this, financial relief has also been deposited in their accounts on the basis of the survey.
The state government has formed a task force by joining 12 departments to provide relief to the flood affected people at the earliest.
Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that the central government has extended all possible help in providing relief to flood affected families.
Union Minister expressed hope that soon life in the flood affected areas will become smooth as before.
