A forty-five year-old man from Tamil Nadu has tested positive for Corona virus. He returned to Chennai from Oman and was subjected to screening and the test proved that he was infected with the virus.
The State Health Minister Dr C Vijayabhaskar has tweeted that the patient is being kept in the Isolation Ward at the Rajiv Gandhi General Hospital in Chennai.
His condition is said to be stable and is under constant observation. The Minister has asked the public not to panic saying that the state machinery is fully geared up to combat the disease.
