The Indian men’s hockey team has created history by winning the bronze medal in the Paris Olympics 2024. The people of Madhya Pradesh are also celebrating this grand victory, because Vivek Sagar Prasad of Chandaun village of Itarsi, MP has played an important role in the victorious Indian team.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced to award one crore rupees to this promising player of the state while encouraging him. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has congratulated Vivek and the entire Indian team through a video call today.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while wishing Vivek, said that the dedication and hard work with which the Indian hockey team has made the country proud.

It is noteworthy that Vivek Sagar, a former player of Madhya Pradesh State Hockey Academy, has represented the Indian hockey team in the Olympics for the second time. Earlier, the Indian team had also won the bronze medal in Tokyo Olympics-2020.
