The national capital region witnessed a scattered spell of rain early in the morning on Sunday. As per the MET department, the minimum temperature is likely to dip to 6 degrees Celcius during the day while the maximum temperature will be 19 degrees Celcius. The rain forced the homeless to take refuge at night shelters as cold wave intensified in the national capital.
Several flights arriving and departing from Delhi were delayed due to dense fog. Similarly, 15 trains were delayed last week by over three hours as north India continued to remain covered under a dense blanket of fog.
