Jamia VC launches Admission Web Portal for session 2020-21

Jamia Millia Islamia’s Vice-Chancellor Prof. Najma Akhtar today launched Admission Web Portal for receiving application forms and Prospectus for the session 2020-21.

Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Ilyas Husain, Registrar Mr. A P Siddiqui(IPS) , Controller of Examination Dr. Nazim Husain Jafri, Deans of Faculties, teachers and staff members of Controller of Examination office were present on the occasion.

Online forms will be available from 21st February2020 and the last date will be 25th March 2020.

The online admission forms is open for all UG,PG,PG Diploma, Advance Diploma, Diploma, MPhil/PhD programmes.

Admission test will start from 18th April 2020.

Jamia student Maryam Siddiqui participates in conference HPAIR Harvard 2020


Maryam Siddiqui, a student of Jamia Millia Islamia, was selected to attend the prestigious Harvard college conference HPAIR Harvard 2020.

She attended the conference in the ‘Energy and Environment Sustainability’ track, and reached the top 10 finalists in the UNHCR Impact Challenge, where the participants were expected to provide solutions as UN policymakers for conflicted regions such as Syria, Myanmar and Sahel.

A highly competitive conference, HPAIR, which stands for Harvard College Project for Asian and International Relations, is held at the university in Boston annually in February. An Asia chapter of the conference is held in an Asian country every August.
