Maryam Siddiqui, a student of Jamia Millia Islamia, was selected to attend the prestigious Harvard college conference HPAIR Harvard 2020.

She attended the conference in the ‘Energy and Environment Sustainability’ track, and reached the top 10 finalists in the UNHCR Impact Challenge, where the participants were expected to provide solutions as UN policymakers for conflicted regions such as Syria, Myanmar and Sahel.

A highly competitive conference, HPAIR, which stands for Harvard College Project for Asian and International Relations, is held at the university in Boston annually in February. An Asia chapter of the conference is held in an Asian country every August.
