Islamic State group’s second in command Abd ar-Rahman Mustafa al-Qaduli has been killed in a US raid in Syria, Pentagon chief Ashton Carter has confirmed.
He said on Friday that it will now hamper the operational ability of the terror outfit.
Carter said the removal of this IS leader will hamper the ability for them to conduct operations inside and outside of Iraq and Syria.
He also told reporters that Abd ar-Rahman Mustafa al-Qaduli also served as finance minister for the group.
