JAMMU: The central interlocutors on Thursday visited the Kot Bhalwal jail in Jammu and got the details of the detainee who have been there for militancy related reasons and know the status about their cases. They also met different organisations belonging to displaced Kashmiri pandits and visited the migrant camps to have an on the spot assessment of the situation there. The group also held discussions with Pahari culture and welfare forum, Dogri Sanstha, Congress and Akali Dal Badal representatives.

Talking to reporters in Jammu the Panel Chief Mr. Dilip Padgaonkar emphasized that the three member panel will not meet any one unless they invite them. He reiterated they are open to talk to any one who want to speak with them and added if some one chooses not to speak to them it is understood they have constraints and compulsions. Mr. Padgaonkar  made it clear that any solution to Kashmir issue must be acceptable to all regions and all sections of people of Jammu and Kashmir
