India and France will hold detailed discussion on terrorism in the aftermath of Paris and Pathankot attacks. Replying to a query in New Delhi this evening, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup today said talks will be held to further deepen the cooperation on terrorism as it has now become an international problem.
Mr Swarup said ways to enhance trade between the two countries will also be high on the agenda during the forthcoming visit of President of France François Hollande to India. On a query regarding 36 Rafale multi-role fighters deal with France, Mr Swarup said negotiations are on advance stage. However, he refused to divulge details saying the matter is under the domain of the Defence Ministry.
