Nagpur Regional meteorological centre has issued warning for Vidarbha region for today and tomorrow. Severe heat wave conditions are very likely to occur at isolated places over Chandrapur, Nagpur and Wardha districts of Vidarbha.

Heat wave conditions are also very likely to occur at many places over Akola, Amravati, Gadchiroli, Gondia, and Yavatmal districts of Vidarbha.

In the next 7 days, temperatures are likely to remain above 46 degree Celsius in the entire Vidarbha region. Yesterday Chandrapur recorded the highest temperature in the region with the mercury rising to 47.8 degree Celsius. Nagpur recorded 47.5 degree Celsius and stood second in the region.

In Rajasthan, normal life has been thrown out of gear due to severe heat at most of the places in the state. The heat wave conditions badly affected the western and northern part of the state.
