Out of 90 seats in Haryana BJP has bagged 40, Congress 31, Jannayak Janata Party 10, INLD one, Independent 7 and others one.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal has won from Karnal seat while Congress candidate Randeep Singh Surjewala lost Kaithal constituency to Leela Ram of BJP. Former Congress Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has won Garhi Sampla Kiloi seat. Mr Hooda appealed for polarisation of opposition to form government in the state.
Dushyant Chautala of JJP has won from Uchana Kalan. BJP candidate Dr. Kamal Gupta has won Hisar constituency, while Pramod Kumar Vij has been declared elected from Panipat city. BJP candidate Subhash Sudha has won Thanesar seat. Congress candidate Mewa Singh has been declared elected from Ladwa. Haryana’s Finance Minister and Senior BJP leader Captain Abhimanyu has lost in Narnaund constituency.
BJP President Amit Shah thanked people of Haryana for making BJP the largest party and giving it a chance to serve again. He congratulated Chief Minister Manohar Lal, BJP state chief Subhash Barala and all the party workers.
