They will also submit the copy of their version of draft bill it to the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on Saturday.
The marginalized groups have been protesting against lack of their representation and views in both the government and civil society versions of the Lokpal bill.
Source in Parliamentary standing committee on Lokpal told TIA that genuine concern of the marginalized section of the society would be kept in mind while finalizing the Lokpal Bill to be discussed in the winter session of parliament.
Bahujan Lokpal Bill wants following provision should be taken into consideration when making of the Government’s Bill:
-Like Public Sector Company (PSU) private company, NGO, Media group should bring under the perview of Article 12 of constitution as ‘other authority’ and bring them under the purview/jurisdiction of Lokpal.
-Religious Trust, Math, Mandir, Waqf Board, church, Gurudwara like religious entity should also bring undar the perview of Lokpal Bill or there should be religious Property Acoountibility Bill like Judicial Accountibility Bill.
-There should be representation of all community in Lokpal selection committee.
“The Indian society is not only caste-ridden but multi-cultural and multi-religious too, and so each community needs to be represented”, All India Confederation of SC/ST Organisations chief Udit Raj told The Indian Awaaz after submitting the draft Bill to Abhishek Singhvi.
