In Uttar Pradesh a high power committee constituted under chairmanship of the Chief Secretary of the state to probe into tragic deaths of children at BRD Medial college Hospital Gorakhpur has been asked to file its report within 7 days.
The committee will probe all aspects of tragedy including supply of essential life saving item oxygen. Principal Dr Rajiv Misra of the Medical College has already been suspended for his alleged negligence in the duty.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that actions will be taken against the persons responsible for the tragedy after getting reports of the high power committee and magisterial probe initiated by the District Magistrate.
