FIRs have been lodged against BJP President Amit Shah and RJD Chief Lalu Prasad following hate speeches against each other during election campaigning in Bihar. The action has been taken after getting permission from the Election Commission.

An FIR has been lodged against Mr. Shah in Singhaul out post in Begusarai district. Two FIRs have been lodged against RJD President Lalu Prasad in connection with hate speeches.

One FIR has been lodged in Sikandra police station of Jamui district and other in Sachivalay police station in Patna district of the state.

Earlier the Bihar Election department sent factual reports and video clips of election meetings of BJP chief Amit Shah and RJD President Lalu Prasad for their alleged provocative speeches in Begusarai , Jamui and Patna.
