Patna police have issued order to arrest Bihar Samajwadi Party Chief Ram Chandra Prasad Yadav and state secretary of party Rajesh Kumar. Senior Superintendent of Police Vikash Vaibhav told an FIR was lodged against duo for taking 10 lakh rupees as donation from one Venkatesh Prasad for giving party ticket to contest Tekari assembly seat in Gaya district.

Mr. Vaibhav said prima facie allegation made by Venkatesh Prasad was found correct. Reacting to arrest order Ram Chandra Prasad Yadav said he has faith in law and will get justice from the court. He demanded judicial inquiry into the incident and said all this is a conspiracy of Chief Minister Nitish kumar to malign image of the party ahead of assembly polls.

In an another development police have launched manhunt to nab RJD MLA Surendra Prasad Yadav after an arrest order was issued against him for threatening a contractor with dire consequences if he filled a tender for a contract work in irrigation department in Gaya. Yadav is an MLA from Belaganj constituency in Gaya district of the sate. An FIR was lodged by contractor in a police station in Patna. City SP Chandan kushwaha said police have been put on alert.
