Delhi Food and Civil Supplies Minister Imran Hussain today held a high-level meeting and reviewed the distribution of food grains during the lock-down. The Minister directed the officials to ensure that sale of essential commodities is not over charged in any circumstances. He said, necessary action should be taken against those found overcharging. He asked people to be vigilant in maintaining adequate social distance during the distribution of ration at government Fair Price Shops.
Mr Hussain said, Civil Defence volunteers will be deployed at all shops and beneficiaries will be encouraged to use masks and hand sanitizers.
