To provide quick medicare facilities to the pilgrims of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra and security forces deployed for Yatra, 166 Battalion of CRPF based at Banihal in Ramban district established a Special Free Medical Camp at Lamber area of Banihal for Amarnath Yatris and security forces. CRPF medical officer, Dr Sandeep Verma, along with his team is conducting the camp at Langer Site at Lamber area on Jammu-Srinagar National highway. About 300 pilgrims daily approach this CRPF Medical Camp for consultation where they are provided free medicines also .
