The Communist party of India (Marxist) today said it will explore the possibility to bring an impeachment motion against the Chief Justice of of India, Dipak Mishra, in the Budget session.
CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury said the left party is in touch with other opposition parties to bring an impeachment motion, saying that the crisis in the Supreme Court is not solved yet.
He said it’s the time to play the role of executive and said “we need to intervene”. The budget session of Parliament will begin on January 29.
