The CPI Central Secretariat has issued the following release on Com. A.B.Bardhan.Senior Communist Party of India (CPI) leader Com A B Bardhan, aveteran of Left movement, who was admitted to G B Pant Hospital in Delhion December 7, 2015, after he complained of breathlessness is still criticalbut fighting. He had brain haemorrhage.
As the news of his hospitalisation spread, the Party headquarters hasstarted receiving numerous calls from the leaders of CPI in the states andvarious other political parties in India and of fraternal parties abroad.
Among those who called him in the GB Pant Hospital are NCP leaderSharad Pawar, former CPI(M) general secretary Prakash Karat, Brinda Karatalong with other politbureau members, CPI general secretary S SudhakarReddy along with other central secretariat members and a stream of Leftleaders and sympathisers and his personal friends. His daughter is at hisbedside and his son who is abroad is expected to reach by evening.
