RAHUL AKHILESHThe Samajwadi Party-Congress alliance in Uttar Pradesh, seems to be in trouble as both sides are still unable to find a consensus on seat sharing.

Sources said, Samajwadi Party was not ready to leave more than 100 seats while Congress is adamant on its demand of over 120 seats. A senior Congress leader said, all is still not over as top leadership of both sides want this alliance to forge.

All efforts to iron out the differences between the parties seem to have got over as senior SP leader Naresh Agrawal said in Lucknow that possibility of alliance is almost over as Congress is demanding as many seats which SP can not give away in any condition. On the other hand Congress said that it is going to field its candidates for the first two phases without any coalition.
