China has issued a warning for mountain floods for the next one day in some parts of the country. According to a statement issued by China Meteorological Administration, CMA and the Ministry of Water Resources, the floods are expected to hit the southeastern part of Tibet autonomous region, the eastern part of Guangdong and in particular the western part of Yunnan. The state-run Xinhua news agency reported that the weather authorities advised close monitoring and precautions. Heavy rain has been lashing south China since last week.
