Six-member Central team led by Joint Secretary, Home Ministry, G Ramesh Kumar, visited various flood-affected areas of Bihar.
The team held discussions with top officials of the state government and assessed the situation.
The central team visited different districts including Patna, Bhagalpur and Khagaria during it’s two-day visit.
The team will submit a report to the Centre about devastating floods in the state.
Over 22 lakh people spread over 1004 villages of 15 districts are reeling under the impact of floods.
