CBI has registered a case against former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Hooda in connection with alleged irregularities in the land allotted to Associated Journals Limited, AJL.
According to reports the CBI has filed FIR alleging that Mr. Hooda as the then Chairman of Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) allotted land to AJL in Panchkula violating the prescribed norms.

Haryana Urban Development Authority then took back possession of the plot. In 2005, the same plot was allegedly re-allotted to AJL at original rates by violating norms by the then Chairman, HUDA.
