vyapamThe Central Bureau of Investigation has filed two separate chargesheets in Indore and Bhopal courts against 10 people in two cases related to Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh. The chargesheet in the first case named only one person while the other chargesheet in the second case mentioned names of nine accused persons for their alleged involvement in the scam.

The chargesheet in the first case was filed in a special court in Indore yesterday against an accused in connection with the irregularities in Pre-Medical Test held in 2009.

A CBI official said, the chargesheet was filed before the special judge Raghvendra Singh Chouhan against Purshottam Khoiya under various sections of IPC for impersonation, cheating and forgery.

The other chargesheet in the second case filed in Bhopal Court mentioned names of nine accused persons for their alleged involvement in the Police Constable Recruitment Test 2012.

Both the examinations were conducted by Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal (Vyapam) or the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board. In both cases, the accused persons were booked on charges of impersonation, cheating and forgery under the Indian Penal Code and sections of the Madhya Pradesh Recognized Examinations Act 1937.
