Janata Dal (United) today alleged that BJP is trying to bribe voters ahead of Bihar assembly polls by distributing sarees and ‘gamchas’, i.e.cotton towels Talking to reporters in New Delhi, party spokesperson K C Tyagi claimed over 100 businessmen from Gujarat have been given the responsibility of supplying over 20 lakh sarees and gamchas for distribution to voters.
He said his party along with Congress and constituents of Janata Parivar will take up the matter with the Election Commission. Mr. Tyagi also alleged that over 15 crore rupees are being spent on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally at Muzzaffarpur on Saturday.
