Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee president Bhupesh Baghel will be the new chief minister of the state. AICC observer Mallikarjun Kharge formally announced the name of Baghel as the leader of the Congress legislature party (CLP) at a meeting of the newly elected legislators at the state party headquarters in Raipur today.
Baghel will be sworn as the chief minister by Governor Anandiben Patel at a function to be held at science college grounds in state capital Raipur tomorrow evening.
