Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Monday asked people to boycott Chinese products saying China’s actions are dangerous for the unity, integrity and sovereignty of India.
He said that country should boycott Chinese products as China’s actions are dangerous for the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country.
“China has always betrayed us. Buying Chinese products is like helping the enemy. Every nationalist Indian should boycott Chinese products” Ramdev said in a tweet
“It is important to boycott Chinese products so as to teach the country a lesson” said Ramdev.
The China has always been non-committal on India’s membership to the NSG, a club of nuclear-trading nations.
There is a trade of more than 4.5 lakh crore between India and China. And it’s obvious that by boycotting Chinese products, there will be a huge setback for China and Chinese business organisation.
Right from toys for kids to items of everyday use, China provides everything for India. Festivals take place in India but preparations for them starts in China long back.
Under such circumstances, if India decides to boycott Chinese items, it will shake China badly.
The China is still non-committal on India’s bid for entry into the elite Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).
“The PM said we look forward to working with China to realise India’s membership. President Xi said a second round of talks (on NSG) will be held very soon and this would be helpful,” said Vikas Swarup, the official spokesperson, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
During the recent BRICS summit in Goa and earlier too, recognising terrorism as a key issue, India and China have expressed their desire to strengthen security dialogue and partnership and stressed on maintaining strategic communication and dialogue on the subject.
