
Major Asian stocks displayed mixed trend today. Singapore’s Strait Times index added over 0.4 percent, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng increased 0.40 percent, and China’s Shanghai Composite was up by 0.15 percent. Whereas, South Korea’s Kospi plunged over 1.4 percent and Japan’s Nikkei depreciated by 0.60 percent. Major European indices were trading in negative territory. Germany’s DAX fell over 0.9 per cent, London’s FTSE 100 decreased 0.6 per cent and CAC 40 was trading over 0.5 per cent down when reports last came in.
