Table-TennisLakshay Suri, a Bachelor of Arts (International Studies) student in Aligarh Muslim University brought laurels to alma mater after winning the silver medal in a national level Table Tennis tournament organised by the Maharaja Agrasen University, Himachal Pradesh.

After a dream run till the final, Suri settled at the second place losing to Sidhant of Delhi University. Suri bagged a cash prize with the medal.

Congratulating Suri and his coach Mr Naved for the success, Dr Jameel Ahmad (President, Gymkhana Club) and Professor Syed Amjad Ali Rizvi (Secretary, University Games Committee) said that University and its Games Committee stands proud of Suri’s achievement.

Suri was given admission under an invited category by AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof Tariq Mansoor.
