Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) denied a report which appeared in a certain section of media about any change in the eligibility criteria required for appearing in the admission tests conducted by the University.

The Controller of Examinations, Mr Mujib Ullah Zuberi has categorically stated that the eligibility to appear in the admission test is strictly as per Guide to Admission (2020-21) available on the website, www.controllerexams.com.

“The news story published in a section of media, which is circulating on social media platforms in this context is factually incorrect and misleading,” he added. The aspirants are advised to rely on the official websites www.controllerexams.com and www.amu.ac.in for authentic information and verify any news in circulation.

AMU will be conducting the entrance examinations for admissions in various courses in the 2020-21 session in the near future. The detailed schedule of the entrance exams will be announced as per the guidelines of the Government of India and the evolving situation in the wake of Covid19 pandemic.
