A Sukhoi-30 fighter aircraft crashed at Juria in Nagaon district in Assam Tuesday. Official sources said that both the pilot and co-pilot ejected safely but 2 civilians who were standing nearby the site when the incident occurred, sustained injuries. They are undergoing treatment.
Defence spokesman in Guwahati said that a Court of Inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the accident.
