CBI has dismissed the media reports about delay in forwarding evidence to UK Authorities in the case of extradition of fugitive Vijay Mallya as incorrect.
The agency clarified that hearing of 13th June was not for extradition but for case management review to determine further steps to be taken in the case and to draw a time line for extradition proceedings.
It said, the evidence accompanied the request for extradition of Mallya in February this year itself and additional documents were handed over in May to British Prosecution Authorities.
