Congress has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP for their victory in UP and Uttrakhand assembly polls. The party also thanked people of Punjab, Manipur and Goa for supporting the Congress.
Briefing reporters in New Delhi, party spokesperson Randip Singh Surjewala said, he hopes that BJP will fulfill the promises made during the polls. He said Congress’ good performance in Punjab, Manipur and Goa is a befitting reply to those who talk about the Congress free India.
