ALLAHABAD HCThe Allahabad high court today issued notices to former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, her brother Prabhu Dayal, and nephew Anand Kumar in connection with a case involving alleged large scale manipulation by officers of Gautam Budhnagar district by which her 47 thousand 433 square meter land in the native Badalpur village was declared “Abadi” – non agriculture land – by district authorities.

Through a PIL, a petitioner has challenged the order passed by district authorities on 30th May in the year 2006.

The petitioner claimed that the SDM of the area had declared the agriculture land as non agricultural under pressure in favour of Ms Mayawati and her family members.

The petitioner has requested the court for ordering CBI inquiry in this case. The bench comprising chief Justice D B Bhosle and Justice Yashwant Verma directed to list the case with another case already pending with similar allegation against BSP leader.
