The India Meteorological Department has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal during the next two days. The Weather agency has predicted heavy rainfall over Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Mahe and South Interior Karnataka till tomorrow. The Met Department has further forecast thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds over Chhattisgarh, Konkan, Goa, Maharashtra, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Telangana, east and West Madhya Pradesh today.
