TIA NEWS
Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has said that Akhilesh will not be removed from the post of Chief Minister. Earlier in the meeting held at the party headquarters today, Akhilesh had offered to step down if Party supremo wanted so. However Mulayam Singh also defended Amar Singh who was on the target of Akhilesh Yadav who slammed him as an open adversary of the party.
The meeting in the afternoon today ended with no truce between the warring factions of the party. Mulayam Singh later met separately with various leaders in the evening to resolve the conflict which has marred the prospects of the ruling party raring to go into assembly elections.
Mulayam Singh Yadav in a desperate attempt to unite the family has met Shivpal Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav this evening apart from other senior leaders. Sources say that Akhilesh Yadav is adamant on his demands that all the expelled youth leaders be taken back, Amar Singh should be sidelined and Akhilesh must get a decisive role in distribution of tickets to candidates in the coming elections.
Meanwhile, state party president Shivpal Yadav has expelled ten party workers who were booing him earlier today while supporting Akhilesh Yadav. The truce among Shivpal Yadav and CM Akhilesh Yadav still seems a far cry.
