RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat has lauded the Army for carrying out surgical strikes, saying it has enhanced India’s prestige in the world and given the message to trouble-makers that there is a limit to its patience.
He was speaking at the annual Vijaya Dashami rally of the Nagpur Mahanagar Unit at the Reshimbag ground today. The ongoing unrest in Kashmir, tension on the border and the issue of cow protection was the focus of the address. Mr Bhagwat said, the whole of Kashmir including Mirpur, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and Baltistan is an integral part of India and there should not be any compromise on it.
With thousands of RSS functionaries in their new uniform of dark brown trousers instead of khaki shorts in attendance, Mr Bhagwat said the firmness and efficiency shown in the matter of diplomacy and defence should permanently reflect in the policies. The RSS Chief also stressed the need make concerted efforts of the Government, local administration and the people for bringing in the positive change in national life.
Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were among the host of dignitaries who attended the rally.
