naxalBihar police would initiate an internal inquiry will be set-up to look into the circumstances that lead to the killing of ten CRPF Kobra Jawans in an encounter with Maoists on the border areas of Gaya and Aurangabad districts of the state.

Additional Director General of Police Sunil Kumar told media that the internal inquiry will find out shortcomings if any on the part of the police or lack of coordination during the search operation.

He claimed that the signs of attack indicated the hand of Maoists in the killing. The ADG said that factual report on the incident would be sent to the Home Department which in turn would be sent to the Home Ministry. Meanwhile, Union Home Ministry has asked for a detailed report about Naxal incident.
