North Korea has warned that it will take physical response to a move by the United States and South Korea to deploy the advanced THAAD missile defense system to the Korean peninsula.
In a statement, North Korea’s military said there will be physical response measures from them as soon as, THAAD, will be brought into South Korea.
The United States and South Korea have agreed to deploy the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) anti-missile system to counter the threat from the North Korea.
The system, designed to intercept ballistic missiles flying at high altitudes inside and outside the atmosphere, is aimed at countering threats from North Korea. It has been under discussion by Washington and Seoul since the North’s Feb. 7 rocket launch using ballistic missile technology.
